Anna Tang is Fairfield City Young Citizen of the Year 2016
Anna Tang was awarded Fairfield City Young Citizen of the Year 2016 by the Australia Day Council in recognition for services to Canley Vale Leo Club, Canley Vale High School, UNVALED magazine and Bonnyrigg Mingyue Lay Buddhist Temple. She is the President of the Leo Club. Congratulations Anna!

Cabramatta High School awarded Leo Club of the Year 2015
On behalf of the Leo Club of Cabramatta High School, former President Kimberley Nay Kim, VP Katrina Trinh and President Wendy Lam travelled to Wollongong to receive the prestigious best Leo Club of the Year award from Past District Governor Lorraine Mairinger. Congratulations to all Leos!

CABRAMATTA 2014 is the best Convention in a long time
The District 201 N2 Convention 2014 was held in Cabramatta. It was described by hundreds of delegates and visitors as "the best Convention in a very long time." Two President's Appreciation Awards were given to Steven Tew MJF and Adrian Wong JP. Lyn Au received the Treasurer Award for Outstanding Service and Kimberley Nay Kim received the Leo Award of Honour.

Sotha Bourn and David Tew awarded Melvin Jones Fellowships
Sotha Bourn MJF and David Tew MJF have been made Melvin Jones Fellows by Lions Clubs International Foundation in recognition of their commitment to fundraising. Their names are now displayed at International Headquarters. Adrian Wong was also awarded the Secretary Award for Outstanding Service.

The Australian Lions Foundation is part of Lions Clubs International in Australia. The Foundation is supported by the 1400 Lions Clubs within Australia.
It provides direct financial assistance to individuals and organisations through the Lions Clubs in the local areas of need including:
Emergency and Disaster relief (Fires, Floods, Cyclone and Drought).
Compassionate Grants for people in need.
Funds are distributed in partnership with our local Lion Clubs, who work with the beneficiaries to manage projects, ensuring that every cent is used in the way that it should be. The Foundation is committed to using the funds quickly and efficiently to help those people in their time of need.
The Australian Lions Foundation does not charge any administration costs and your total donation will be used to support the relief that you have nominated or may be used in cases of humanitarian or compassionate need.

2020 District N2 Convention
Venue: TBA Cooma NSW
Dates: 6th February 2021.
Hosted by the Lions Club of Cooma.
This will be a one day event with the a local Cooma Guest to Open the Convention, the day will including our Flags and Remembrance Ceremonies . There will also be a visiting Key Note Speaker. (Details TBA) The important business session of the day will include 'Notices of Motion', as well as the election of FVDG & SVDG. and the election of the District Director for the NSW/ACT Public Health Care & Save Sight Foundation.
The registration form will be online within the next week.
